One-night-only pop-up choir for over-18s where you learn to sing pop classics in harmony with more than 200 others in a candlelit space.
Choir Party is taking over Assembly Roxy on Tuesday 15 December for The Big Christmas Singalong, a one-night-only pop-up choir in Edinburgh. The premise is straightforward: you turn up, grab a drink, and spend the evening learning pop bangers in harmony with more than 200 other people. There's no preparation needed and no previous singing experience required, so you don't need to be a choir person to get involved.
The night follows a set formula. It starts with a warm-up led by a music maestro to get everyone's voice moving, then you learn the songs section by section. Once the parts are in, they're pulled together until the whole room nails a pop classic, and maybe a second one after that. It's a pop-up choir in the truest sense: you arrive as an individual and leave as part of a massive, singing crowd.
