Halloween special of BIG HOT MESS, Scotland's long-running queer clubbing night, with resident DJ Simon Hot Mess and special guest Cormac.
Cormac headlines a BIG HOT MESS Halloween special at The Biscuit Factory on Friday 30 October. He's joined by resident DJ Simon Hot Mess, and the night is a supersized version of HOT MESS, which is described as Scotland's longest-running and, some say, most beloved queer clubbing institution.
Cormac is a regular at Berghain and Panorama Bar in Berlin, and his sets draw from Hi-NRG, Italo disco, house, techno and nu-wave. It's a mix that shows a deep historical awareness of queer club music and culture, rather than just sticking to one era or sound. He runs Polari Records, a label dedicated to elevating LGBTQ+ artistry, and hosts the Queerly Beloved podcast, which has featured guests like Beth Ditto, Peaches, Hercules & Love Affair and Romy.

Getting to The Biscuit Factory is straightforward on public transport: the Anderson Place bus stop on Bonnington Road is a minute's walk away, and the Balfour Street tram stop is about ten to fourteen minutes on foot. The night is on Friday 30 October, just a few days before Halloween.
