Family session exploring feelings, brains and bodies held at The Craft Hub in Edinburgh.
Big Feelings, Busy Brains & Brilliant Bodies is a family session running at The Craft Hub on Sunday 25 October, starting at 10:15. It's a morning set up for parents and children to work through together, with the title itself giving away exactly what's on the table: feelings, brains and bodies.
That's the three things the session focuses on. The 'big feelings' part is about the emotional side of things — the moods and reactions that can feel a bit overwhelming for kids (and the adults who have to navigate them). 'Busy brains' looks at how we think and process, and 'brilliant bodies' brings in the physical side of how we experience the world. It's a family session, so it's designed for you to go in with your children rather than drop them off.
Running it at The Craft Hub fits the bill, too. It's a space that's built around making and doing, and this is more of a hands-on morning than a sit-and-listen one. The whole thing is about taking those three areas — feelings, brains and bodies — and exploring them in a way that makes sense for families to do together.
