40s & 50s Singles Night | Love at First Sign

Love at First Sign are hosting a singles night for people in their 40s and 50s at The Alchemist on George Street this Wednesday 21 October, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. It's aimed squarely at that age group, so you'll be in a room with people in a similar stage of life rather than a general mix.

What sets this one apart is the astrology angle. They describe it as the UK's most unique singles night, and the whole evening is built around it. You don't need to know a thing about astrology to take part, though. On the night, everyone uses the Cosmic Fusion App to skip the usual small talk and see how they match up with other people in the room. It's a way to get a conversation going without having to rely on the standard 'what do you do for a living' openers.

There's a bit of a game to it, too. If you hit a compatibility score of 85% or more with another attendee, you can enter the monthly Cosmic Dip prize draw. So, beyond just meeting people, there's a reason to keep checking who you're a match with throughout the evening.
