The 45th 3D2D Christmas Fair, with stalls, at the Assembly Rooms on George Street.
3D2D Events are bringing their Christmas Fair back to the Assembly Rooms on Saturday 5 December, and it's a bit of a milestone this time around. This is the 45th year they've held the fair, so it's become one of those fixtures that's been part of the Edinburgh December for longer than most of us have been here.
It's a two-day affair, running from Saturday 5 December through to Sunday 6 December, with the doors open from 10.30am to 5pm each day. That gives you a decent window to wander through without feeling like you have to rush in and out. If you're coming from across the city, the Assembly Rooms are at 54 George Street, EH2 2LR, right in the New Town.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Entry is £4, with a £3 concession. It's a fair, so the whole point is to take your time and browse rather than just popping in for a quick look. If you're planning to make a day of it, you've got the full window from mid-morning until late afternoon to work your way through. With two days to choose from, you can pick the one that suits you best, or come back a second time if you missed something on the first run.
