A weekly art workshop led by teaching artists, free to attend, in the Leith area, supporting health and wellbeing through creative expression.
10 by 10: A Celebration of Room For Art comes to the Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Tuesday 20 October, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. It's a day dedicated to Room For Art, the weekly art workshop that runs in Leith, and the event is free to attend.
To get the context: Room For Art is part of Art in Healthcare's social prescribing project, which supports the health and wellbeing of adults across Edinburgh. The workshops are led by quality teaching artists and are free to attend, and they're run in the Leith area. They're described as a welcoming and safe space for connection, respite and self-expression, so the celebration on the 20th is a chance to see what the project is about and the kind of work that comes out of it.
