A live symphonic concert bringing The Legend of Korra to life with an orchestra and cinematic projection, featuring the full series score.
The Legend of Korra in Concert comes to the Buell Theatre on Friday, January 28, 2027, as part of a tour that's hitting more than 20 U.S. cities and 10 European ones. It's produced by Paramount in partnership with GEA Live and Senbla, and it's billed as the next chapter from the team behind Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert.
The show marks 15 years of the animated series, which follows Korra, the rebellious Avatar who succeeded Aang, as she navigates a world on the brink of revolution alongside Asami, Bolin, Mako and Tenzin. The experience runs about two hours with one 20-minute intermission and takes you through all four seasons, with a live orchestra playing Jeremy Zuckerman's score. The music blends orchestral, jazz and electronic influences to reflect Korra's more modern world, and the performance is paired with a full-size cinema screen showing the series with original dialogue and sound effects intact. The original series editor, Jeff Adams, is involved in the production.
