Sammy Virji

Sammy Virji is playing Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, October 16, 2026. It's a DJ set, so he'll be behind the decks rather than on stage with a live band. If you've been following the UK garage and bass scene, you know that's exactly where he fits. He's built his name on that high-energy, dancefloor-focused sound, and that's what he's bringing to the rocks.

For those who aren't as familiar, Virji is a key figure in the current wave of UK garage. His sets are built around heavy basslines and the kind of swing that keeps a room moving, and he's spent the last few years carving out a spot as one of the more consistent names in that world. Coming from the UK, he's touring internationally, and this Denver stop is part of that run. It's a DJ set, so the night is all about the mix and the energy he builds from the booth.

Red Rocks is a particular kind of venue for a night like this. It's an outdoor amphitheatre carved right into the red sandstone, and since it's a DJ set, the focus stays on the dancefloor. It's a long way from the clubs in London where this sound started, but it's the kind of spot where a bass-heavy set can really open up. The music is meant to be felt as much as heard, and the open-air setting gives it plenty of room to breathe.

Doors open at 6 PM, so you've got time to get in and settle before things get going. The show is on Friday, October 16, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, and the whole night is a Sammy Virji DJ set.
