Metal and craft beer festival with headliners Suicidal Tendencies on Friday and Down on Saturday at the Fillmore Auditorium.
Decibel Metal & Beer Fest returns to the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5, for its fifth round in Denver. It's a two-day festival that pairs heavy music with craft beer, and the organizers bill it as the world's loudest, heaviest, and most extreme craft beer festival.
Suicidal Tendencies headline Friday night, and Down take the Saturday slot. For Down, it's their first Denver appearance in more than 12 years, so if you've been waiting to see the southern doom supergroup in town, this is the one. Suicidal Tendencies bring their crossover thrash to the stage for their first Denver headline performance in over eight years. Between the two, you've got a full weekend of heavy music across two nights.
If you want to get started early, there's a Pre-Fest on Thursday, December 3, over at Ratio Beerworks on Larimer Street. That puts the whole thing at three days if you add the Thursday kickoff to the Friday and Saturday main events at the Fillmore.
