A monthly networking social for young professionals in Denver, held at The University Club.
Mile High Young Professionals are back at The University Club of Denver on Tuesday, November 10, for their monthly social. It's the same setup they've run for years: the second Tuesday of every month, a happy hour for young professionals in the city. If you've never been, the dress code is what you'd wear to work, and the whole thing is built around connecting in a relaxed environment rather than the usual awkward networking. There's a new-member orientation at 5:45 PM, and the happy hour kicks off right after.
For this particular night, entry is free for anyone who works in marketing, advertising, and creative. The social runs from 6 PM to 8 PM at The University Club of Denver, 1673 Sherman St, in the heart of downtown. If you're in one of those fields, it's a good excuse to step out of the office and meet people from across the city.
Beyond the monthly socials, Mile High Young Professionals does a fair amount more. They run professional and personal development workshops throughout the year, and they put together about a dozen volunteer opportunities with local non-profits. On the more active side, they have more than seven co-ed Volo Sports leagues—kickball and bar games, indoor volleyball, dodgeball, and a few others. For members, there's the 'Table of 10' networking dinners, which pair you with business, community, and social leaders, and the annual Winter Gala, their first-ever formal evening of celebration and giving.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Denver and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
