An evening party with live music, a pop-up bar and photo opportunities inside the DIVA exhibition at the Denver Art Museum.
Genevieve Libien takes the stage at the Denver Art Museum on Tuesday, December 1, for DIVA After Dark, an evening party built around the museum's DIVA exhibition. The event runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Hamilton Building, Level 2, and pairs Libien's live performance with a pop-up bar and a photo op designed to put visitors in the spotlight.
DIVA is an exhibition organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and it celebrates the radical power, creativity, and cultural impact of nearly 100 iconic performers. The range spans from 19th and 20th-century divas like Josephine Baker, Sarah Bernhardt, and Maria Callas to modern powerhouses including Cher, Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, Prince, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift. In total, the show brings together around 250 objects and show-stopping costumes worn by legendsโfrom Marilyn Monroe to a look Rihanna wore to the Met Gala.
The Denver Art Museum reframed the show for an American audience: rather than defining what a diva is, it explores how costume and dress have worked across time as a tool for performers to demand visibility and ignite social change. The exhibition also includes an interactive section that asks visitors which divas excite them. It runs from October 4, 2026, through January 31, 2027, so DIVA After Dark falls right in the middle of its run.

Libien provides the live entertainment for the evening, and the pop-up bar and photo op are set up around the exhibition, making it a night you can spend inside the show rather than just walking through it. The whole thing is on Tuesday, December 1, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Hamilton Building, Level 2.
