Daniella Katzir Music

Daniella Katzir plays The Outer Space on Saturday, October 17, with Casey Cormier and Peter Sheridan joining her on the bill. It's a free show, open to all ages, starting at 3 PM.

Katzir is a singer-songwriter who got her start inspired by the American folk music of the 1960s. Over more than 25 years she's worked across a wide range of genres, and these days she's settled on a signature blend of ukulele and finger-style guitar. Her vocals pull from a few different places: the swing era, old Motown-inspired blues, Americana folk, gypsy music, and sassy jazz. She's a lyricist and guitarist as well, and for a while she fronted the Boulder-based band Magnolia Row, sharing the stage with artists touring nationally and internationally.

Now living in Denver, she plays regularly as The Daniella Katzir Band in full band formation, but also performs solo. This is one of those solo dates, and since her live shows are open to all ages, it's a good one to bring the kids along if you're out on a Saturday afternoon.

The Outer Space is at 16th St. and Welton in downtown Denver. The show starts at 3 PM, and admission is free.
