Celtic Session with Denver Celtic Night

Denver Celtic Night hosts another Celtic session at the Fiction Beer Company taproom on Saturday, October 17, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It's part of a new regular for the brewery: an open session held on the third Saturday of every month.

The evening is built around an hour of tune learning, which makes it accessible to newcomers who might be hesitant to jump into a session without a lead. Once that hour is up, the pace picks up for a faster session. Anyone is welcome to bring an instrument and join in, or just settle in with a beer or two and listen.

Because it's an open session, the music comes from whoever shows up that night. If you play, you can get in on the tunes; if you don't, you can still spend the evening listening. The learning hour at the start means you don't have to be a seasoned player to participate—you can pick up a few things and then play along.

The session is free to attend, though attendees are asked to buy drinks from the taproom. It runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday, October 17, at Fiction Beer Company in Denver.
