Candlelight tribute concert to the music of Toni Braxton held at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Candlelight is bringing a tribute to Toni Braxton to Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 17. It's part of their series of candlelight concerts, which take live music into some of the city's more unexpected spaces—this one at 1820 Broadway in Denver.
The whole point of these shows is the setting: the music is performed by candlelight, and the program is a tribute to Braxton's songs. It's a tribute, not a performance by the artist herself, and the organizers make that clear—the concert isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Toni Braxton, her estate, or her official representatives.
The show runs about 60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before it starts, and they don't let anyone in once the performance is underway, so you'll want to be there early rather than cutting it close. It's recommended for ages 8 and older, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
