BPM BINGO! Odd Mob Edition

Mersiv is playing Larimer Lounge on Friday, October 23, as part of the BPM BINGO! Odd Mob Edition. It's a night of electronic music in the heart of Denver, and if you've been following the scene here, you know the drill: a dance floor and a sound system that can handle the low end.

For those who aren't familiar, Mersiv is known for a sound that sits right in the pocket of bass music—heavy on the low end but with enough texture and groove to keep it from feeling like a wall of noise. It's the kind of set that works just as well if you're there to dance as it does if you're just hanging out and letting the bass do the heavy lifting. The Odd Mob Edition framing puts it all under one roof, so you've got a clear idea of the vibe before you even walk through the door.

Larimer Lounge is a good fit for this. It's a room that can hold a crowd without losing that feeling of being close to the booth, and it's easy to get to if you're already downtown. Since it's a Friday night, it's a straightforward way to kick off the weekend without having to trek across the city.

Doors open at 6 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle in before things really get moving. If you're planning to go, keep in mind it's a Friday night in Denver, so arriving a bit early is usually the move if you want to beat the rush. The show starts at 6 PM at Larimer Lounge on Friday, October 23.
