A theatrical adaptation of the Emmy-winning children's series Bluey, featuring puppets and live music, suitable for the whole family.
Bluey's Big Play comes to the Buell Theatre on November 21 and 22, 2026, as part of the Heelers' first live theatre tour in the United States. It's a stage adaptation of the Emmy-winning children's series, and it's currently touring Australia, the US, the UK, and Ireland with dates running through 2026 and 2027.
The show runs about 50 minutes with no interval, so it's a single sitting that fits well within a family's afternoon or evening. Puppets bring the characters to life on stage, and the story comes from the show's creator, Joe Brumm, with original stage music by composer Joff Bush. It's presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co.
There's no price difference between adult and child tickets, which makes it easy to figure out the cost for the whole family. Tickets range from $40 to $200. At each venue, there's also a VIP package that includes a character meet-and-greet, a VIP lanyard, and a gift. After the show, some audience members are invited to play 'Keepy Uppy' with air-filled balls and bubbles, so the kids can keep moving even after the curtain closes.
