Black Sky Brewery celebrates its thirteenth anniversary with an all-day party featuring four local bands.
Black Sky Brewery is celebrating its thirteenth anniversary this Saturday, October 10, with an all-day party at its taproom on Santa Fe Drive. Thirteen years is a long run for any brewery, and they're marking it with a full day of music rather than just a single set.
Four local bands are on the bill: No Bueno, The Frickashinas, Lights in the Sky, and The Newport Kings. With four acts spread across the day, it's more of a marathon than a typical night out, so you can drop in for one band or hang around for several. The brewery is the venue here, too, so you'll be drinking their beer while the music goes.
The party runs from 12 PM to 10 PM, which gives you a ten-hour window to work with. If you're coming for the music, the bands will be playing throughout that stretch, and the taproom stays open the whole time. It's a Saturday, so it's an easy one to build a day around.
