A free dance party featuring Reggaeton and Disco music with DJ battles, community dance instruction and silent disco at Glenarm Plaza.
16LIVE returns to Glenarm Plaza on Thursday, October 15, from 5 PM to 9 PM. It's the final night of a series that's been running since August, and this one is called ¡Dale, Disco!, built around reggaeton and disco. The two genres don't usually share a dance floor, but that's the whole point of the night: Colorado DJs going head-to-head in a friendly dance battle.
It's not just the DJs on the decks. Each night includes community dance instruction, silent disco dance battles, and crowd-driven competitions, so you can get on your feet even if you didn't come to dance. The series runs under Quaking Gold, part of the Skynets Over Downtown art installation, and it's inspired by Denver's music community, bringing together local DJs, artists, and dancers to celebrate the city's creative culture. The whole thing is free and open to the public.
If you've been following the series, you've seen it move through a few different moods. It started on August 20 with Bars & Bops (hip hop and pop), followed by Mile High Hits on August 27, where Broncos and Nuggets DJs Squizzy Taylor and PAWS the Music took over. September 3 brought Boombox v Bluetooth, pitting millennial hits against Gen Z, and September 17 was Spikes & Sparkles, punk versus Pink Pony Club. October 1 was Cowboys v Aliens, country against EDM. ¡Dale, Disco! is the last one of the lot.

One detail worth knowing: Glenarm Plaza is a city-designated consumption zone, so you can bring beverages from local businesses into the party. Silent disco headsets are reserved for guests who RSVP in advance, with walk-up headsets handed out while supplies last. The party runs from 5 PM to 9 PM, and it's free.
