Wolf & Bear

Wolf & Bear play Puzzles Deep Ellum on Saturday, November 14, with Coletta opening. It's a progressive rock band coming in from Sacramento, California, and they're playing a full set on their own.

If you're not familiar with the lineup, it's a five-piece: Cameron Nunez on guitar, Marcus Cisneros and Tyler Watt on vocals, Tim Feerick on bass, and Jacob Koval on drums. Having two singers on a prog bill usually means they're leaning into the vocal harmonies and the more melodic side of the genre, and with a full rhythm section behind them, there's plenty of room for the songs to stretch out. It's a Sacramento band playing a Dallas room, so this is one of their stops on the road rather than a local date.

Coletta opens the night, so you'll get two acts for the price of one. The show starts at 7 PM at Puzzles Deep Ellum, 2824 Main St, in the heart of Deep Ellum. Tickets run from $21 to $25, depending on when you grab them.
