Concert by Emma Ruth Rundle, a genre-defying artist from Portland, with special guest Cinder Well.
Emma Ruth Rundle plays Puzzles Deep Ellum on Wednesday, December 2, with Cinder Well opening. Rundle is a Portland, Oregon artist who works across a few different worlds—solo records, collaborative projects, bands, and soundtracks, and she also works as a visual artist. The set will draw from her new album, These Killing Times, which she recorded with producer Sonny Diperri. Diperri has worked with My Bloody Valentine, Trent Reznor, and These New Puritans, and he's been a regular collaborator of hers for over a decade.
Beyond the music, Rundle has a literary side. In 2025 she published her first book of poetry, The Bella Vista, through Unnamed Press. The show is a double bill: Cinder Well opens with music from her own catalog, and Rundle follows with her own set. Both artists come from the same general orbit, and the two acts together make for a full evening of music rather than a single short set.
