Vince Staples performs live on his Cry Baby Tour, backed by a live band, at the South Side Ballroom.
Vince Staples brings his Cry Baby Tour to the South Side Ballroom on Friday, October 23, with Provoker opening the night. It's part of an autumn 2026 run supporting his latest album, Cry Baby, and Staples is backed by a live band at every date.
If you've been following his work over the last few years, Cry Baby marks a bit of a shift. It follows a trio of more introspective records: his 2021 self-titled project, 2022's Ramona Park Broke My Heart, which leaned into the specific geography of his Long Beach roots, and 2024's Dark Times. This one turns outward, and the tour is built around that new material.
Having a live band behind him changes the energy from a DJ set, and since he's bringing one to every stop on the run, it's the same setup you'll get here in Dallas as he does everywhere else on the tour. Provoker opens the bill, so there's a full night of music before the headliner takes the stage.
