Concert by the Orlando-based quintet Magnolia Park, presenting their album VAMP at Gilley's.
Magnolia Park play Gilley's Dallas on Thursday, December 10, at 7 PM. They're touring VAMP, the neo-gothic concept album they put out on Epitaph Records. It's an 11-track project that pulls from anime like Vampire Hunter D and stories like Dracula and Star Wars, and it gave us singles like "WORSHIP," featuring PLVTINUM and Vana, and "CULT."
If you're not familiar with them, they're an Orlando quintet that formed in 2018 around vocalist Joshua Roberts, guitarists Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, drummer Joe Horsham, and bassist Vincent Ernst. They've built a sound that pulls from punk, rock, pop, hip-hop, and metalcore, and they've toured with Simple Plan, Sum 41, and A Day To Remember. They headlined the first Summer School tour and played festivals like Reading, Leeds, Sonic Temple, and Welcome To Rockville. VAMP followed their full-length debut, Baku's Revenge.

Frontman Joshua Roberts also stepped away from the band's anime-influenced, lore-heavy work in 2023 to release a solo EP, Good For You, where he explored styles outside that world. The show at Gilley's is Magnolia Park on their own, with the band taking the stage at 1135 S Lamar, Dallas, TX 75215, on Thursday, December 10, at 7 PM.
