Australian indie rock band Vacations perform their album 'Pursuit Of Anything' live at House of Blues Dallas, with support from Twen.
Vacations play the House of Blues Dallas on Saturday, March 13, 2027, with support from Twen. They're on the road for their fourth studio album, Pursuit Of Anything, and this is one of the North American dates they're playing to work through it.
Vacations are an Australian indie rock band from Newcastle, formed in 2015. They describe their sound as "woozy guitar pop," a blend of indie, jangle, and lo-fi styles. Their discography includes the double-platinum Young and the platinum Telephones, and they've performed on US television. Pursuit Of Anything is the work of a group of friends who've been making music together since they were barely out of their teenage years.
Singer Burns described the album's title as being about happiness as a feedback loop — how you keep chasing the next thing — and called the record something that feels classic the first time you listen to it. The set will be built around those songs, and since they've been playing together for over a decade, they'll likely pull from the earlier records too.

Opening for them is Twen, a hands-on alternative rock band. Their 2022 LP One Stop Shop preceded more than 500 shows across North America and Europe, so they're well-traveled and used to the road. Doors open at 7 PM at the House of Blues Dallas, 2200 N Lamar St, and the show starts at 8 PM.
