Los Angeles dance music duo Two Friends perform live at the 2026 State Fair of Texas.
Two Friends play the State Fair of Texas on Friday, October 9, at 7:45 PM. The duo is Matt Halper and Eli Sones, two Los Angeles producers who started out making music in their high school bedrooms and worked their way up to become one of the more promising dance music acts in the scene. They first made a name for themselves with viral remixes of classics like "Mr. Brightside," "I Miss You," and "Trap Queen," and later with their award-winning Big Bootie Mixes.
Their original tracks cover a fair amount of ground, too. "If Only I," "Wrong Way," "Emily," "Pacific Coast Highway," and "Out Of Love" run from melodic house and harder progressive cuts to pop-leaning earworms, so there's a bit of everything in the mix. The set is part of the 2026 State Fair of Texas, which runs from September 25 to October 18. If you're already planning a trip to the fair, this is one of the musical stops on the schedule.
