Concert by the rock alternative band True North at Puzzles Deep Ellum.
True North are playing Puzzles Deep Ellum on Wednesday, October 8. It's a single-bill night, so they're the only act on the bill.
If you're not familiar, True North is an alternative rock band. That's about all the label gives you, but it's enough to place them in the broader rock scene here in Dallas. They'll be taking the stage at Puzzles, one of the Deep Ellum spots that keeps the neighborhood's live music tradition going, and since they're the sole feature of the night, the whole set belongs to them.
Deep Ellum is a good place to catch a show on a Wednesday. It's a mid-week date, so it's a bit different from the usual weekend rush. If you've been following them, this is a chance to hear them live in a room where the focus stays on the music. If you're coming in fresh, it's a straightforward way to get a full look at what they do without a long lineup to work through.
