Interactive show in which a title suggested by the audience becomes an original musical created live on stage, with no script.
Totally Made-Up Musical plays at Theatre Three on Sunday, October 18, and again on Sunday, October 25. Both shows start at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. It's an interactive show where the title is suggested by the audience, and that title becomes an original musical created live on stage. The cast and musicians invent the story, the songs, the scenes, and the characters in the moment, with no script and no safety net. Every lyric, harmony, plot twist, and character is improvised, so no two performances are ever the same.
It's staged on the set of cleaVage at Theatre Three's Norma Young Arena Stage, 2688 Laclede St in Dallas. The show runs about 90 minutes, which includes a short intermission. Tickets are $17.50 for general admission. If you can't make it to the Theatre Three dates, the show also returns to The Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch on Sunday, November 1, at 7:30 PM.
