A 90-minute acrobatic cat show by Rock Cats Rescue, Inc., featuring trained house cats performing feline acrobatics, followed by a meet and greet.
The Amazing Acro-Cats are coming to the Wyly Theatre for a run from May 20 to 23, 2027. If you've seen them on the Netflix series Cat People, this is the live version: a 90-minute acrobatic cat show with no intermission. The troupe is made up of trained house cats—all former orphans, rescues, and strays—who ride skateboards, jump through hoops, ring bells, and balance on balls. Every attendee gets a 'Purrbill', a full-color program about the show and the cats, and a meet-and-greet with the cats follows the performance.
Behind the act is Rock Cats Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has found homes for hundreds of cats and kittens since 2009 through welfare, rescue, and adoption. The troupe partners with a local animal rescue at every stop, and all merchandise sales support that rescue. Beyond Cat People, the Acro-Cats have appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl, CBS News Sunday Morning, and PBS Nova's Cat Tales, and more recently on Theo Von's podcast This Past Weekend. They don't book private events and don't travel outside the contiguous 48 United States.
