Live music performance by Sam Swank at the Ziegenbock Stage on the grounds of the State Fair of Texas.
Sam Swank plays the State Fair of Texas on Thursday, October 15, at 6 PM. He's performing at the Ziegenbock Stage, which is inside the newly renovated Old Mill Inn near Big Tex Circle.
The Ziegenbock Stage is one of three locally focused stages at the 2026 fair, alongside the Bud Light Stage and the White Claw Spotlight Stage. All three are presented in partnership with the Dallas Music Office, and the Ziegenbock pairs live music with food and drinks in the shadow of Big Tex. The stage and the Bud Light Stage extend the fair's ongoing collaboration with State Fair Records, the East Dallas label that selects the up-and-coming and established Texas musicians who play here.
Swank is the only act on the bill for this particular slot, so the set is his to carry. The fair itself runs for 24 days, kicking off on September 25 and celebrating "all things Texan," so this show falls right in the middle of the run. If you're already planning a day at the fair, this is a good way to build a late-afternoon stop around the music.
