Country rock concert by Rich O'Toole at Poor David's Pub in Dallas.
Rich O'Toole plays Poor David's Pub on Thursday, October 15, with doors opening at 7 PM and the show starting at 7:30 PM. He's a household name in Texas Country, with 75 million streams and half a million albums sold. His ninth album, God Is a Gentleman, came out in 2025 on PTO Records, and it's the latest addition to a catalog that spans nearly a decade of recording.
Depending on the night, you'll find him in one of two modes: a high-energy full band show or a more intimate acoustic evening. Both draw from the same Texas Country songwriting that's built his reputation across the state. God Is a Gentleman is his ninth outing, so there's a deep well of material to pull from, and the set usually balances the new stuff with songs from his earlier records.
Poor David's Pub has been a Dallas live music hall for more than 50 years. It bills itself as family friendly and hosts the B.W. Stevenson songwriting contest, a nod to the songwriting tradition O'Toole fits right into. It's located at 1313 Botham Jean Blvd in Dallas.
