Pumpkin Painting

Community Beer Co. is hosting pumpkin painting this weekend, from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, during taproom hours. It's a drop-in setup at their brewery and taproom, 3110 Commonwealth Dr in Dallas, so you can swing by whenever you're in the neighborhood.

The idea is straightforward: you pick out a pumpkin and paint it right there. The theme is open, so you can go for a traditional Halloween look or something more fall-inspired. Since it runs across three days, you've got a bit of a window to fit it in—Friday after work, a Saturday afternoon, or a Sunday before the week starts back up. You're working during taproom hours, and you're in the brewery, so you can have a beer while you paint.

One of the best parts is that you don't have to bring anything with you. All the painting supplies are included, so you just show up and get started. You pick your pumpkin, grab the supplies, and take your time with it. If you're going with a group, it's the kind of thing that works just as well as a solo project.
