A haunted Y2K club night with throwback hits from Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and JT; Halloween costumes encouraged.
Promiscuous: The Haunted Y2K Edition takes over Trees on Friday, October 30, starting at 9 PM. It's a Halloween-themed throwback night built around the club bangers of the early 2000s, with a set list that leans on the era's heavy hitters: Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake. If those names bring back memories of low-rise jeans and ringtones, that's exactly the room this is aiming for.
The night is brought to Dallas by the team behind Sorry For Party Rocking!, the monthly touring throwbacks night that runs out of Los Angeles. They've given this one a specific Halloween spin, and the dress code follows suit: Y2K core or your best Halloween costume, with costumes heavily encouraged. So you can go full 2004—think velour tracksuits and oversized sunglasses—or just lean into the spooky side of things.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Dallas and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Trees is a Deep Ellum landmark that's been around since May 1990, and it's hosted a long list of names over the years: Radiohead, Nirvana, Arcade Fire, Deftones, Tool, and Erykah Badu. A recent renovation left it with an award-winning sound system, which is a nice thing to keep in mind for a night built on club hits. It's an all-ages event, so you can bring whoever you want. The party kicks off at 9 PM on Friday, October 30, at 2709 Elm Street in Deep Ellum.
