Progressive metal band Periphery performs live at The Studio at the Factory, with support from Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven and Ando San.
Periphery play The Studio at the Factory on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven and Ando San opening. It's a full bill, so you'll be in for a long night of heavy music.
Periphery are a Maryland band whose sound pulls from progressive, experimental and progressive metal. The lineup features Misha Mansoor, Jake Bowen, Alex Bois, Travis Orbin, Thomas Murphy and vocalist Christopher Barretto. They're known for a technical, polyrhythmic approach to metal, and they've built a following around that particular blend of complexity and groove. The three opening acts—Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven and Ando San—each bring their own take on the heavier end of the spectrum, so the night starts well before the headliner takes the stage.
There's a bit of a running joke in how the band presents themselves. Their official biography closes with the self-deprecating line, "HOW'S THAT FOR A BIO! Love, Jake/Periphery," which gives you a sense of the personalities behind the music: they take the playing seriously, but not themselves.
