Country singer-songwriter Paul Cauthen performs live at The Bomb Factory, with support from Tyler Halverson, as part of his Book of Paul tour.
Paul Cauthen plays The Bomb Factory on Saturday, November 21, with Tyler Halverson opening. It's part of the Book of Paul tour, the run supporting his fifth album, which he wrote almost entirely himself—12 of the 13 tracks are his own.
Cauthen is an East Texas country singer-songwriter who got his start in the underground scene with the duo Sons of Fathers back in 2009. He learned to sing from his grandfather in a Church of Christ, and that gospel influence has stayed with him through the years. He's put out four albums before this one: My Gospel, Room 41, Country Coming Down, and Black on Black. He's toured the world collaborating with Margo Price, Orville Peck, Cody Jinks, and Lana Del Rey, and he's racked up 442 million global streams, including a GOLD-certified collaboration with Shaboozey on "Last Of My Kind."
Since he's a Texas artist playing a Texas room, this is one of the closer dates on the tour. The set will lean on Book of Paul, but with four previous records behind him, there's plenty to pull from beyond the new material. Tyler Halverson opens the night, so you'll get two acts for the price of one.
