Organ recital by Anna Lapwood on the Lay Family Concert Organ at the Meyerson Symphony Center, part of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's 2026/27 season.
Anna Lapwood plays the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on Sunday, October 25, at 2 PM, and again on Thursday, October 29, at 7:30 PM. Both recitals are part of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's 2026/27 season, which also brings in one-night appearances by Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang and Idina Menzel.
Lapwood is an organist who's built a huge presence outside the usual concert hall—nearly four million followers across social media and sold-out shows worldwide. Gramophone has called her an "artistic force of nature" and "the dream ambassador for classical music," and her reach extends into collaborations with Bonobo, Sigur Rós and Aurora. Her repertoire runs from organ favorites and contemporary meditations to selections from film scores like The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.

For these two dates, she'll be performing on the Lay Family Concert Organ. There isn't a printed program for either show; she'll announce the pieces from the stage as she goes. Tickets start at $44, and the venue opens two hours before each concert, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before she starts.
