A high-energy live video dance party band performing iconic 80s and 90s hits in sync with their original music videos, hosted by original MTV VJs Mark Goodman and Alan Hunter.
Neon Nostalgic plays the Eisemann Center on Saturday, October 17, at 8 PM. It's a live video dance party band that's toured North America and the rest of the world, building a reputation as one of the premier nostalgia acts on the circuit. The whole night is presented by the Eisemann Center together with the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
The hook is that they sync every moment of the performance in real time with the original music videos, playing the hits that ruled bedroom walls and Walkman playlists and transporting audiences back to the golden age of music television. The set pulls from the 80s and 90s, so you'll hear the songs that defined those decades played live while the videos run along with them. It's a live band playing the music you remember from the screen, not a DJ set.
Fronting the evening are original MTV VJs Mark Goodman and Alan Hunter, who share inside stories and memories from the era between the songs. They're two of the faces from the early days of the channel, so they've got a firsthand perspective on the music and the culture they're celebrating. The show is billed as a high-energy live video dance party, and with the VJs on hand, it's as much about the stories as it is about the music.
