Concert by Dallas singer-songwriter Muriel, blending Urban Cumbia, Latin pop and modern Tex-Mex, within the LakefrontLive! series.
Muriel plays the Bath House Cultural Center on Tuesday, October 13, as part of the LakefrontLive! series. It's a free show, presented by the center itself, so there's no ticket to worry about.
Muriel is a Dallas singer-songwriter from Oak Cliff, where she's earned the nickname 'Oak Cliff Princess.' Her sound blends Urban Cumbia, Latin pop, and modern Tex-Mex, and she draws from the Latin music her family played at home. It's a mix that sits right at the intersection of the city's neighborhood sounds and the broader Latin pop scene.
She's been working her way through the regional circuit for a few years now. She was a semifinalist in México Canta por la Paz with her original song 'Perdón (Me haces falta tú)' and later performed as part of the FIFA Fan Experience here in Dallas. Since the early 2020s, she's put out a steady stream of singles: '24/7 Contigo,' '¿Qué Tal Si Lo Intentamos?,' 'Amiga,' 'Mentiras,' and 'MGPX.'
