Post-hardcore and emo revival band Movements perform live at The Bomb Factory, presenting their album Happier Now.
Movements play The Bomb Factory on Wednesday, November 11, as part of their 2026 tour. They're out on the road supporting their latest album, Happier Now, and the Dallas date falls toward the end of a run that kicks off October 7 and wraps up November 14.
If you're not familiar with them, Movements are an Orange County band that came up in the mid-2010s post-hardcore and emo revival scenes. The lineup is Patrick Miranda on lead vocals, Ira George on guitar, Austin Cressey on bass, and Spencer York on drums. Their sound works by pairing clean, intricate guitar melodies with heavy, distorted riffs, and Miranda's vocals shift between soaring melodies and raw, spoken-word passages. The lyrics lean into anxiety, depression, and personal struggle, so it's the kind of record that hits closer to home than most.
They first made a name for themselves with their debut album, Feel Something, which earned critical acclaim and gave them a few fan favorites like "Daylily." Since then, they've mostly played medium-sized clubs and theaters, and their setlists usually pull from across their discography rather than sticking to one era. You can expect a set that runs about 75 to 90 minutes, with Happier Now taking center stage.
