Machine Girl performs live at AM/FM Dallas as part of their PsychoWarrior Tour, with support from portrayal of guilt and Yesterdayneverhappened.
Machine Girl plays AM/FM on Wednesday, October 21, as part of the PsychoWarrior Tour. It's a New York City-based act, and the sound they've built pulls from electronic, industrial, experimental punk, and breakcore. If you've followed them for a while, that's the mix you're getting: the heavy, distorted textures of industrial and punk meeting the fast, chopped-up rhythms of breakcore. It's the kind of music that lives in the overlap between a dance floor and a mosh pit.
They aren't coming alone. The bill includes support from portrayal of guilt and Yesterdayneverhappened, so there are two openers to catch before Machine Girl takes over. If you're not familiar with those names, it's a good excuse to get there early and see who else is on the bill. The whole night sits under the PsychoWarrior Tour banner, and this is the Dallas stop on that run.
One thing to keep in mind: the show is sold out. If you already have your tickets, you're set. If not, you'll have to keep an eye on the secondary market or hope for a last-minute opening. It's a mid-week date, and the venue is AM/FM, located at 1950 Market Center Blvd in Dallas.
