Larry Gee plays the State Fair of Texas on Friday, October 16, at 7 PM. He's the sole name on the bill for the night, so it's just him taking the stage.

If you're not familiar with the fair's music side, it's a bit bigger than most people realize. The State Fair of Texas runs from September 25 to October 18 at Fair Park, and they've billed it as a Texas-sized music festival. Over the course of those nearly four weeks, there are daily live performances across three stages, with more than 100 artists playing a wide range of styles. Gee's set falls toward the end of that run, on the second Friday of the fair.
