A multi-sensory evening of teaching, music and reflection based on John Mark Comer's book 'Into the Quiet', with Jon Guerra.
Jon Guerra is playing Highland Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 13, starting at 7 PM. He's joined by John Mark Comer for Into the Quiet Experience, a multi-sensory evening built around Comer's book Into the Quiet. It's not a standard concert: the night moves through teaching, music, and quiet, reflective contemplation, and everyone who attends gets a signed copy of the book.
Guerra is a devotional music writer from Austin, Texas, and he's the one providing the music for the evening. Comer handles the teaching side of things, and the two work together to build the experience around the themes of the book. The whole thing is billed as an immersive evening, so you'll be doing more than just sitting and listening—the quiet, reflective parts are a planned part of the program, not just the gaps between songs.

All proceeds from the night go to support the work of Practicing the Way, the organization Comer leads. So your ticket does two things at once: it gets you into the room and it supports their work. If you're coming from outside the neighborhood, the church is at 3300 Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, TX 75205. It starts at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 13.
