If you're not familiar with the name, Jon B. is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer and songwriter who first made a mark in the mid-nineties. Born Jonathan David Buck in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in November 1974, he released his debut album Bonafide in 1995. That record went platinum and gave us "Someone To Love," a duet with Babyface that climbed to number five on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. He followed it up with Cool Relax, Pleasures U Like, and Stronger Everyday, building a sound that blends soulful ballads with street influences.
