Live jazz bands in a lounge-inspired setting with bar and light bites at the Dallas Museum of Art, part of the 'Meet Me at the Museum' series.
Jazz at the Museum returns to the Dallas Museum of Art on Friday, October 16, as part of the museum's 'Meet Me at the Museum' series, which opens the galleries after hours. The night is built around live jazz from some of Dallas' top local musicians, set in a lounge-inspired space with a full bar and light bites. It's one of several dates the series runs throughout the year, with other nights on Saturday, August 22; Saturday, December 19; Saturday, February 13; and Friday, April 23.
Your ticket does more than just get you into the music. It also grants you access to select museum exhibitions after the performance, so you can wander through the galleries once the set is over. If you're coming hungry, there's a VIP upgrade you can buy in advance that adds a chef-crafted meal from the DMA Cafe and priority seating. Tickets are available both in advance and on the day, so you can book ahead or just decide when the evening rolls around. It's a night that lets you catch some local jazz and see a bit of the museum in one go.
