Jack Kays

Jack Kays plays The Echo Lounge & Music Hall on Friday, February 19, 2027, with Willowake and Dear Cincinnati opening. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you want.

Kays grew up in the suburbs of Cincinnati, where his parents got him into music early. He was on drums by age three and classically trained on piano in elementary school, then added saxophone, guitar, and bass. These days he plays nearly ten instruments. He turned to music to get through mental health struggles that made high school a difficult stretch. An educational trust helped him attend culinary school, find better housing, and kick a drug habit, after which he returned to his art.

He cut the track "Morbid Mind," an introspective song that climbed the Spotify ranks thanks to TikTok clips and a music video from Soul Serum. He describes his mission as "to make people feel less alone," and the music sits at the crossroads of alternative, punk, rock, and pop punk. Willowake and Dear Cincinnati open the night.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM. The venue is The Echo Lounge & Music Hall, 1323 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207.
