A celebration of the State Fair of Texas held at Frost Bank in Fair Park, featuring entertainment and fairground attractions.
Frost Bank is hosting a celebration of the State Fair of Texas at its Fair Park location in Dallas on Wednesday, October 21, from 11 AM to 1 PM. It's one of the associated events tied to the fair, which is run as a nonprofit with a mission centered on celebrating all things Texan and providing entertainment for a diverse mix of fairgoers.
If you're spending time at Fair Park around the celebration, the grounds hold a few landmarks worth knowing. The Hall of State is one of the main ones. Every night, the Starlight Parade—created by Kern Studios of New Orleans—winds through the fairgrounds with floats, life-size puppets, and animated characters. The Bud Light Stage is in its eighth year of partnership with State Fair Records, which also produces the ZiegenBock Stage at the newly renovated Old Mill Inn.
The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL), a multidisciplinary arts institution celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season, returns this year after debuting at the 2025 fair. Between the parade, the stages, and the arts programming, there's a lot to see across the park while the fair is running.
