Emei - Night at the Opera Tour

Emei brings her Night at the Opera Tour to The Echo Lounge & Music Hall on Tuesday, October 27, with Madelline opening the night. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you want.

Emei is an alt-pop artist who describes her work as genre-bending, and the tour title gives you a hint of what she's going for. The set is built around two things she's known for: biting lyrics and theatrical staging. If you've heard her recordings, you know the lyrics tend to be sharp and direct, and the theatrical side means the show is meant to be watched as much as listened to, rather than just a singer standing behind a mic. The Night at the Opera title leans into that—it's a nod to the more dramatic, staged side of her live act.

Madelline opens the bill, so there's a full night of music before the headliner takes the stage. Between the two, you'll get a good stretch of pop and alt-pop in one go. Since it's all ages, it's a show that works for a younger crowd as much as for anyone else.

It all goes down at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall, 1323 N Stemmons Fwy, in Dallas. The show starts at 7 PM on Tuesday, October 27.
