Doja Cat (Ma Vie World Tour)

Doja Cat plays the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, November 4, as part of her Ma Vie World Tour. She's bringing along Latto as a special guest, so the night will be two sets rather than one.

If you've followed her since the beginning, you know she didn't start in the pop charts. Doja Cat was born and raised in Los Angeles and first uploaded music to SoundCloud in 2013 when she was 16. She signed with Kemosabe/RCA in 2014 and released the Purrr! EP, which featured the single "So High"—that one ended up with over 30 million streams. Then came the viral hit "Mooo!" in August 2018, and in March 2019 she put out the Amala Deluxe album, which included the new song "Juicy."

Since then, she's moved into Hot Pink and a sound that blends hip-hop, pop, and R&B. That mix is a good way to describe what she does: the rap side, the pop hooks, and the smoother R&B textures all in one set. With Latto opening, you'll get two different takes on the same general territory in one night.

The show is at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave, Dallas, TX 75219. It starts at 7:30 PM, and doors open around 6:00 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get in and find your spot before Latto takes the stage.
