Metalcore band Demon Hunter performs live at the AM/FM venue in Dallas, with support from Wolves At The Gate and Bloodlines.
Demon Hunter play AM/FM on Friday, October 9, as part of their Storm the Gates of Hell 20th Anniversary Tour. They're not alone on the bill: Wolves At The Gate and Bloodlines open for them, so it's a full night of metal rather than a single set.
Demon Hunter has been around since 2002, starting out in Seattle. Over two decades, they've built a sound that balances heavy riffs and confessional lyrics, with production that sits somewhere between a polished studio finish and raw power. The band describes their songs as markers for life's chapters, from weddings to funerals, and their fans have taken that to heart—many wear the group's symbols, lyrics, and album imagery on their clothes and even as tattoos.
This tour comes at a bit of a turning point for them. EXILE is the first release from their newly formed label, Weapons MFG, so they're stepping into the role of putting out their own music. The show itself is part of the Storm the Gates of Hell 20th Anniversary Tour, which marks two decades since that early record.

As for the venue, AM/FM describes itself as "multiple frequencies on the same dial": an early-morning diner, a nighttime lounge, and an expansive backyard, all held together by people working to keep Dallas' independent culture alive. The show starts at 7 PM, and tickets run from $30 to $90.
