Death Cab for Cutie

Death Cab for Cutie play The Bomb Factory on Wednesday, March 24, 2027, with Swapmeet opening. It's the Dallas stop of their North American headlining tour, which hits Houston and Austin before it reaches us.

They're touring I Built You A Tower, the album they released in June 2026 after returning to their indie roots on ANTI- Records. It's their tenth studio album, and this tour is the first time they're bringing it to the road. If you've followed them for a while, you'll recognize the name from the early days: they formed in 1997 in Bellingham, Washington, with frontman and lead songwriter Ben Gibbard at the center. They broke through with the platinum-certified Transatlanticism in 2003, which gave us "The New Year" and "The Sound of Settling," and later moved to Atlantic Records for 2005's Plans, home to the Grammy-nominated "I Will Follow You into the Dark."

Across ten studio albums, they've picked up eight Grammy nominations. Pitchfork named them one of the 200 Most Important Artists of its first 25 years. After leaving Atlantic, they signed with ANTI- Records, the label that put out I Built You A Tower last summer. That's the record this tour is built around, so you'll hear it live alongside the older songs they've carried with them for years.

The show starts at 7 PM at The Bomb Factory, 2713 Canton St, Dallas, TX 75226. Swapmeet opens, and Death Cab for Cutie follows.
