CupcakKe

CupcakKe is playing Puzzles Deep Ellum on Thursday, October 15, with doors opening at 7 PM. The Chicago rapper has built a name as one of hip-hop's most unapologetic voices, known for sex-positive rhymes and a fearless attitude that doesn't pull punches. She's a queer icon whose work sits right at the intersection of explicit rap and social commentary.

That duality is a big part of what she does. On Queen Elizabeth (2017) and Ephorize (2018), she used explicit rap to tackle heavy themes like sexual assault and racism, turning the same boldness she brings to her sex-positive tracks toward the things she finds unacceptable. She's also worked with Charli XCX, bringing that same energy into the pop world without toning it down. If you've followed her, you know she doesn't do subtle.

This Dallas date is presented by Restless Shows and is open to all ages, so it's a show you can bring friends to regardless of where they fall on the age scale. Tickets start at $35, and doors open at 7 PM at Puzzles Deep Ellum, 2824 Main Street, Dallas, Texas 75226.
