Christian metalcore band Convictions perform live at Puzzles Deep Ellum in Dallas, with support from Miss May I, Born of Osiris and Downswing.
Convictions are playing Puzzles Deep Ellum on Sunday, November 29, with Miss May I, Born of Osiris, and Downswing on the bill. It's a full night of metalcore, with four bands sharing the stage rather than just one act. The show starts at 7 PM.
Convictions are a four-piece Christian metalcore band from Fremont, Ohio. They call their sound "Aggressive Worship," and they build their lyrics around their own convictions, tackling topics that push boundaries. They're known for an infectious live show, and the lineup consists of Patrick Shekut, Quinton Dreier, Zach Schwochow, and Mike Felker. If you've never seen them, that's the best way to get a sense of what they're about.
They aren't alone on the bill. Miss May I and Born of Osiris are both established names in the scene, so this is more of a package than a single-headliner date. Downswing rounds out the lineup, making it a four-band run through the night. With that many acts, you'll want to be there early to catch the openers before the main set.
